Our humble beginnings shaped the company we’ve become. We started with two locations in 1957, and we’ve worked hard to keep CED as local as possible. Now, with over 700 locations, CED has become one of the largest electrical distributors in the country.

Electrical Supplies
CED is one of the largest electrical distributors in the country, supplying and servicing those who power homes, streets, schools, office buildings, and arenas. We provide everything from lighting and circuit breakers to home automation, ensuring that those involved in construction and maintenance can complete their jobs efficiently. Our partnerships with leading electrical manufacturers give us a unique advantage, allowing us to bundle services, products, and custom solutions.
Delivery
At CED, we have transport vehicles to conveniently get your orders from our warehouse to your job. Let us know where you need the material, & we’ll get it there!
Vendor Managed Inventory
We analyze and document the customer’s inventory to identify the on-hand materials, current quantities, obsolete items, and opportunities for consolidation. Materials will be organized into bins or the most effective storage solutions. Each bin will be labeled with the following information: part number, description, minimum and maximum quantities, a barcode, and an internal part number if available.
Our dedicated VMI Specialist will visit the facility weekly to scan the bins for replenishment. The information collected from our barcode scanner will be uploaded into our business system, which then generates a quote. This quote will be emailed to the customer for review and approval.
